About NTD Hub

NTDhub is a cross-disciplinary network bringing together scientists, engineers, psychologists and artists seeking novel interdisciplinary approaches to solve the critical and global challenge posed by Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs).

Our activities include research projects, public engagement and capacity building events in the UK and in collaboration with our international partners. To date our work has attracted more than £3 million in funding from UK, EU and global funding bodies including BBSRC, Global Challenges Research Fund, Medical Research Council, Newton Fund and Wellcome Trust.

Twenty one diseases are designated NTDs by the WHO.
